Kundalini One Institute Opens New Yoga Teacher Training for the Modern Yogi in 2026
Some milestones arrive quietly. Others feel like a full-body exhale.
After 10 years of teaching, studying, holding space, and watching students grow in ways they never expected, I am honoured to share that I have been approved through Yoga Alliance International to open Kundalini One Institute.
This is more than a new training. It is the next chapter of a path that has been lived, practised, tested, softened, strengthened, and loved.
Kundalini One Institute was created for the modern yogi of 2026, someone who wants more than poses and theory. This training is for those who feel called to understand the body, steady the mind, nourish daily life, and experience what it truly means to become a teacher.

A new home for Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training
Opening Kundalini One Institute feels like listening to a quiet inner voice that has been speaking for years.
For a decade, teaching has shown me something again and again. People come to yoga for many reasons. Stress. Curiosity. Healing. Strength. A need to breathe. A longing for community. Then, somewhere along the way, yoga becomes a mirror. It begins to reveal courage, discipline, softness, and purpose.
That is the heart of this new teacher training.
Kundalini One Institute is built around the belief that becoming a yoga teacher is not only about learning how to lead a class. It is about learning how to live with more awareness. It is about gaining the tools to guide others while also becoming more honest, grounded, and clear within yourself.
The training welcomes those who know they want to teach, and those who simply feel called to go deeper. Both reasons are valid. Both paths can change a life.
What the modern yogi needs in 2026
Yoga in 2026 asks for depth and practicality. Students want spiritual connection, but they also want to understand how the body works. They want meditation, but they need practices they can carry into real life. They want a yogi lifestyle, but one that can exist alongside work, family, technology, and the pace of the modern world.
This is why the curriculum at Kundalini One Institute brings together several essential areas of study.
Anatomy gives students a respectful understanding of the body. It helps future teachers recognize that every body is different. It supports safer cueing, more thoughtful movement, and a better ability to guide students with care.
Meditation teaches steadiness from the inside out. It offers tools for focus, breath awareness, nervous system support, and inner listening. The practice becomes less about escaping life and more about meeting life with presence.
Kundalini yoga philosophy and practice create the energetic foundation of the training. Students explore kriya, breath, mantra, mudra, meditation, and the daily discipline that helps these practices become embodied rather than memorized.
Modern yogi lifestyle and food bring the teachings into the kitchen, the grocery list, and the everyday rhythm of life. Food for the modern yogi in 2026 is not about perfection. It is about nourishment, awareness, seasonal choices when possible, simple meals, mindful eating, and learning what supports your own energy.
This training is educational and spiritual in nature. It does not replace medical care, nutrition counselling, or mental health support. It offers practices and perspectives that can support a more conscious life.

The training weekend becomes a turning point
There is something powerful that happens during a training weekend.
You arrive with your bag, your notebook, your questions, and maybe a few doubts. You practise. You listen. You sit in meditation longer than you thought you could. You learn a new concept in anatomy. You share your voice. You try teaching a small piece, even if your hands shake.
Then something shifts.
Each training weekend becomes a living experience of growth. You do not only learn information. You practise becoming someone who can stay present through challenge. You begin to build new neural pathways through repetition, courage, breath, and choice.
The mind starts to receive a new message:
I can do hard things. I can keep showing up. I can become the teacher I once needed.
That belief matters. The journey of teacher training often changes how students relate to possibility. What once felt too big begins to feel reachable. What once felt far away begins to feel like the next right step.
Becoming a teacher is an inner journey
Completing a yoga teacher training carries a feeling that is hard to explain until it happens.
There is pride, of course. There is joy. There may be tears. There is often a deep pause, a moment when you realize you did not just complete a program. You completed a journey through parts of yourself.
You met resistance and came back to the mat.
You learned to speak with more clarity.
You studied ancient practices and found personal meaning in them.
You listened to others and discovered more compassion.
You witnessed your own growth in real time.
Becoming a teacher does not mean becoming perfect. It means becoming willing. Willing to learn. Willing to practise. Willing to honour the teachings. Willing to serve from a place of humility and care.

An invitation to begin in 2026
Kundalini One Institute opens with deep gratitude for every student, teacher, mentor, and moment that helped shape this path.
After 10 years of teaching, I know this is the right time to offer a training that honours both tradition and modern life. A training that welcomes curiosity. A training that respects the body. A training that makes room for meditation, food, community, discipline, joy, and the real human experience of becoming.
If the thought of teacher training keeps returning to you, listen to it.
If there is a part of you that wants to understand Kundalini yoga more deeply, listen to it.
If you have wondered what it would feel like to stand in front of a room and guide others through breath, movement, mantra, and stillness, listen to it.
The path may feel big at first. Most meaningful paths do. But weekend by weekend, practice by practice, breath by breath, something new begins to form.

Kundalini One Institute is now open, and the invitation is simple.
Come learn. Come practise. Come be supported. Come remember what is possible.
The teacher within you may already be waiting. This training is a place to meet them.
Join us starting Friday, October 16 for 8 weekends. More info at www.kablooms.ca
